Belvedere palace

The Belvedere is a baroque palace complex with beautiful statues, garden and fountains built 1714 - 1723 by Prince Eugene of Savoy as his own summer residence. Since 1775 the Belvedere  has housed the imperial picture gallery - later transferred to  Museum of Art History. Since 1903 the Austrian
Gallery museum with world largest Klimt collection resides here.
