Since many years there is a flea market in Kazan on the bus stop called “Tinchurina”. In 80-90-s it was famous as book market. Now you can buy a lot of cool old stuff there- books, technics (including retro cameras), DVDs, antiquaries and many other things for cheap prices. Probably you could find much greater sovenier here than matroyshka or ushanka. Opened on Sundays from 9:00 till 13:00
