Camelbeach Waterpark

Camelbeach was designed and built by Aquatic Development Group to further expand the market appeal of the Camelback ski resort during the summer months making it a year round family resort. Taking advantage of the existing infrastructure, the waterpark was constructed at the base of the mountain adjacent to the lodge. Because of this unique location, the entire waterpark has been designed so that during the winter months certain features can be covered by snow.
The Adventure River is 1,000 linear ft. long and offers plenty of action along the meandering journey. The river features a zero depth entry, Geyser Island, rolling waves, waterfalls and bubbling waters.
A 7,500 sq. ft. family interactive play lagoon wraps around a themed interactive play structure that has a 6 ft. dumping bucket at its peak. Two aqua fountains, water slides and a large tree stump play element have also been designed into the lagoon. There are four inner tube slides located on the hill overlooking the lodge.
Kahuna Lagoon is the name of Camelbeach’s 30,000 sq. ft. wave pool, boasting the largest man-made waves in the Northeastern U.S., up to 8 ft.!  But, if body surfing on waves that big isn’t enough excitement for you,try your hand at boogie boarding or stand-up surfing! That’s right. In the summer of 2006, Camelbeach made news by adding the first FlowRider in the region. FlowRider is a natural extension to the snowboarding lifestyle already served by the Camelback Ski Resort. The Double FlowRider at Camelbeach allows two riders to boogie board or surf simultaneously.
Camelbeach Waterpark was honored by Aquatics International as a “Best of Aquatics, Must See Waterpark”, in 2005.
