The number one building/attraction that will never cease to amaze me is the Petronas Twin Towers. This skyscraper is visited by millions, loved by all and is like no other building in Kuala Lumpur. No visit to the city is complete without a picture of you standing in front of the twin towers and afterwards enjoying the adjoining park and shopping center. The sun sets around 7pm in Kuala Lumpur so be sure to visit during the afternoon.
For the traveller who wishes to see the view from up high, buy a ticket to the observation deck which is located on the 86th floor or walk from one tower to the other by using the world's highest double-decked sky bridge. Make sure that you show up early as ticket sales will start at 8.30am and are quite limited, or alternatively book online.
