Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has announced new career opportunities to fill in several positions vacant in regulatory authority. Multiple positions announced by the Civil Aviation Authority are on the contract basis for 2 years and could be extend, if needed. Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority is looking for highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill in several position for its head office based in Karachi.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority is a regulatory authority which is responsible to oversees and regulates all the aspects of civil aviation in the country. It was formed in 1982 by the Government of Pakistan which owned almost all the civilian airports of Pakistan.

The current job vacancies announced by Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, are as follows:

Flight Inspector Pilot: (1 Position-Merit)

Candidates having Bachelor degree of Science with the minimum experience of 5000 hours with Pilot in-Command rating on Commercial / Military / Transport aircraft are eligible for this position. Maximum age should be 63 years.

Additional Director: (General Aviation) (1 Position-Merit)

Candidates having BSc / BA degree with a valid commercial pilot license are eligible for this position. They must have minimum 2500 hours of flying experience including at least 1000 hours on any multiengine jet / turbo prop / piston engine aero-plane. Maximum age should be 55 years.

Assistant Air Traffic Control Officer (32 Positions)

(Merit-9, Punjab-9, Sindh (U) 2, Sindh (R) 3, Bal-2, GB-FATA 3, KPK-2, AJK-1, Minority-1)

Candidates having degree of BSc (Physics and Mathematics) / BSc (Computer Science) / BS, BE, BSc (Engineering) / BS (Aviation Management), are eligible to apply for this position. Maximum age should be 28 years.

Assistant Director IT (Database Administrator) (1 Position-Merit)

Candidates having Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / I.T / Computer Engineering with at least 2^nd division, are eligible to apply. Knowledge of different software and systems with 5 years of relevant experience, is also required for this position. Maximum age should be 40 years.

Assistant Director IT (Oracle ERP Developer) (1 Position-Merit)

Candidates having Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / I.T / Computer Engineering with at least 2^nd division, are eligible to apply for this position. Knowledge of different software and systems with 5 years of relevant experience, is also required for this position. Maximum age should be 40 years.

Assistant Director IT (Oracle Financials Functional Consultant)

(2 Positions-Merit)

Bachelor/Master degree holders in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration with at least 2^nd division, are eligible to apply for this position. Knowledge of different software with 5 years of relevant experience, is also required for this position. Maximum age should be 40 years.
