Navy Pier, Chicago

An attractive place for a corporate team building event, Chicago’s Navy Pier –with more than 8 million visitors each year –  is a happening place to say the least.
During WWI, it housed several regiments of soldiers; during WWII, this was the place for pilot training orientation. After the war, Navy Pier served as a branch campus for the University of Illinois. Today, well, what isn’t Navy Pier? Part theater district, part Fisherman’s Wharf – Navy Pier is the Midwest’s #1 tourist destination, hosting everything from a giant carousel to a Shakespeare theater to a stained glass window museum.
