The architects of this place were Daniel P. Higgins and Otto R. Eggers. It was a
neoclassical art. It was designed in the purpose to look like a place in Italy.
He loved Italy. What called most of my attention were the writings on the wall.
I felt happy and proud; the writings were from the Declaration of Independence.
I was also proud because I got to be on the memorial of one of the brightest men
ever to have existed. I already knew that he was the third president. I learned
that he could read in over six languages. He loved Italy the architecture and
the art. He was the ambassador of the United States in France.
