A few years ago, the German sports car manufacturer Porsche
opened an impressive new automotive museum right on Porscheplatz square.
For discerning fans of these iconic sports cars, it offers an
unforgettable experience, making it an essential part of any visit to
Stuttgart. The Porsche Museum has also become one of the city's
architectural highlights. Marvel at 80 of the best and most famous road
and racing cars from this legendary brand. On display are classics such
as the 356, 550, 911 and 917, as well as a tribute to some of Professor
Ferdinand Porsche's pioneering accomplishments from the early part of
the 20th century, including the original Beetle. Another highlight of
the exhibition is the famous Pink Pig racing car that took part in the
24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in 1971. This museum contains
