The Lu Mountains are a blend of history, natural scenery and
religious culture. The oval-shaped mountains stretch 25 kilometers, spanning 10
kilometers in width, and cover an area of 300 square kilometers. There are more
than 19 peaks, of which the Dahanyang Peak is the highest, with an elevation of
1,474 meters.
The Lu Mountains are a popular summer resort thanks to
picturesque scenery and cool weather in the summer. Mt. Lu is especially famous
for its three supreme sights: the sea of clouds, the waterfalls and the sheer
cliffs. Waterfalls on the mountain are particularly well-known due to their
clear water and abundant water flow. These waterfalls are mainly supplied by
natural precipitation. The humid climate and plentiful rainfall on the mountain
all year round ensure that there is enough water for the waterfalls.
